Work Outside Of The College
After a year in which I built my confidence of becoming a photographer I decided I would try and use my skills outside of the college. I live in Blackpool, a place everyone thinks of when you say tourist and seaside holiday. I used this to my advantage and started to contact hoteliers and see if they needed images for their incoming season on which this would be their biggest selling point ass everybody looks at the pictures and believes this is what it is like. I have now done a lot of paid work around my area and created a lot of contacts.

Inspired by David Nightingale http://www.chromasia.com
I have always loved more natural photography in the was that the things I shoot are outdoors. David Nightingale was introduced to me In my first year of my photography course and now he is one of the most influential photographers in my work. This was my last project in my first year which was my most successful getting an A and only dropping 2 marks for presentation. This set me up for my second year as i wanted to explore in depth more ways of landscape/natural photography.

Is Seeing Believing
Is seeing Believing was one of the topic questions in my project after toys. This was a chance to come away from toys and really explore different styles. This image was taken by accident. I was doing a shoot on feeling as they are sometimes hidden and I don't understand why I did it but I took a picture of my own eye. This was by mere chance but when I came to zoom in on my eye i saw a room. It almost looked like someone had took my image and put a room into my eye. I then decided to make this focus turning the rest of the image black and white using Photoshop.

Powerful
First Photography Project
My first photography project consisted of 5 titles. Throughout them titled you could mould your idea to one of those titles. As this was my first project I decided to do toys. Something I thought would be easy...It doesn't move, speak and you can get them together when you want. This was a learning curve as although I got a B in this project I realised it wasn't my strongest point in photography and that I could do better with another genre's of photography.
For this photo I decided to take the figure into the studio and use a spotlight to really get the drama in the image... almost like the spotlight is on her.
